The responsible parties succeeded in connecting history and modernity through several years of elaborate detailed work within the framework of monument protection. Exposed concrete, historical beam constructions, and large glass elements complement each other harmoniously. In the former barn, several high-quality lofts and a garden apartment have been created and are offered as holiday apartments. The "Obermarkt," Mittenwald’s historic, traffic-calmed street with inns, cafes, and shops, begins in close proximity.
