Bicycle tour through the Alpenwelt Karwendel region

Tour description

The "Alpenwelt Karwendel Tour" begins in Mittenwald, at the parking lot on the street Im Schwarzenfeld, where you will first follow the famous Isar bicycle path downstream toward Krün. The well developed bicycle path runs along the right-hand side of the main road (B2), leading you to Seinsalm and the forest road which continues to Krün. There is the option here to explore the idyllic Isar reservoir, about 10 minutes on foot. Passing the Isar bridge in Krün, the bicycle path rolls slightly downward toward Wallgau. There, cross over the Isar footbridge and turn right on the golf course circular route. The Isar bicycle path returns to Krün and, from there, on the road Hochstraße through the picturesque "hummock meadows" to the starting point in Mittenwald.
