The "Warm-up loop" near Krün is the ideal introduction to your cycling and mountain biking vacation in the Alpenwelt Karwendel region. Through wide, green fields, you will experience the vacation destinations of Krün and Wallgau in front of the impressive backdrop of the Karwendel and Wetterstein massif.
This interesting and easy cycling tour is perfect as an introduction if you have even bigger tours planned. The loop begins at the "Krottenkopfstraße" hiking parking lot in Krün; follow that street for a bit and then turn right. The route proceeds through wide fields on the Isar bike path to Wallgau, where you will follow the main road for about 300 meters and then turn right onto Flößerstraße. The streets Kalkbrennerstraße and Isarstraße will take you down to the Isar river and to the lovely Isar footbridge. The bike path along the Isar river takes you back to the starting point in Krün.
