The Hausbergbahn is only open in winter for the ski season. In just seven minutes you reach an altitude of just under 1,310 metres and find yourself in the middle of the ski area around Garmisch-Partenkirchen's local mountain.
From Mittenwald, Krün and Wallgau it is best to take the RVO busto Garmisch-Partenkirchen and continue with the local buses.
