Hike from Wallgau to Auhütte hut

From Wallgau city hall, accessible via the bus stop "Rathaus Wallgau", walk past the "Kurpark", along Flößerstraße in the direction of the Isarsteg Wallgau (there is a hikers' parking lot). Walk over the Isarsteg and then continue left on a level footpath at the edge of the forest with a view of the Zugspitzmassiv and Estergebirge. There, you will experience a blooming and sometimes rare show of flowers, depending on the season. The mountain hut operation, operated part-time in the spring, invites you to linger for a cozy snack or coffee and cake.
