Tour description

The informative and varied Wasserweg am Lautersee is one of a series of themed hiking trails in Alpenwelt Karwendel. This hiking trail, which is suitable for families (with prams), starts on the west shore of the lake and leads from there via the so-called "Reitweg" up to the nearby "Ferchenseehöhe" at about 1,100 metres. On the way, you can learn about the development of the Lautersee,as well as about the numerous peculiarities of this popular bathing lake above Mittenwald.
