mountain hike to the Fischbachalm alpine hut near Krün

Tour description

The starting point is the center of Krün, accessible by the bus stop "Ortsmitte Krün". At the Maypole, you take the Schöttlkarspitzstraße to the city hall, then continue down the mountain towards the Isar. From here, go over the Isar bridge, following the forest road to the left. After a short while you will reach a junction, where you will turn right, following the signs leading toward the Fischbachalm alpine hut. You will climb continually (sometimes steeply) until you reach the Fischbachalm alpine hut (operated July, August).
