Tour description

The Panorama Cinema on the top of the Hohe Kranzberg (1,391 m) near Mittenwald can be reached from the mountain station of the Kranzberg chairlift in about an hour. Hikers can reach the mountain station either via the Hiking Trail 830 from the Valley Station or comfortably by chairlift. From the railway mountain station and the nearby Berggasthof St. Anton, you now hike on the direct trail (820) towards the Kranzberg summit. Past the Kranzberg summit house, the highest point of the Kranzberg is quickly reached. Here you will find the Panorama Cinema on the summit of the High Kranzberg with 15 cosy relaxation loungers offering fantastic views over the entire Isar Valley. A tip for the whole family...

Alternative routes & other tips

If you would like to combine a visit to the Panorama Cinema at the Kranzberg summit with an extensive hike we recommend that you first climb to the Berggasthof Wildensee and then ascend via the Hiking Trail 809 from the back of the Kranzberg to the summit . The walking time from the valley station of the Kranzberg-chair lift is about 2 ½ to 3 hours.
