Mountain hike to the Wallgauer Alm

Tour description

The starting point of this tour is at the town hall in Wallgau, accessible via the bus stop of the same name. From there, first head towards the village square, then via Sonnleiten onto hiking trail no. 454, which later leads into a narrow forest path. The steadily ascending path ends on the forest road, which you follow to the Wildbädermoos service hut. Here you keep to the right and walk for another approx. 30 minutes until you reach the Wallgauer Alm.
The way back is via the Wildbädermoos-Diensthütte on forest road no. 450 to the signpost "Finzbachklamm" (no. 451). At the end of the gorge, turn left towards Wallgau on trail no. 417 and reach the Haus des Gastes. From here it is a few minutes to the bus stop at the town hall.
