Mountain tour over the Schwarzkopf near Krün

Tour description

The starting point for this short mountain tour is the centre of Krün, accessible via the bus stop of the same name. At the maypole, walk along Schöttlkarspitzstraße to the town hall and continue down towards the Isar. Here you cross the Isar bridge and keep to the right, approx. 300 metres along the forest road, until you reach the turn-off into the Hüttlebachklamm on the left. From here, the trail runs through the Gorge to a covered bench that invites you to take a rest. Continue following the signs to the right up the well-maintained trail to the lookout on the Schwarzkopf.  For the descent, take the same trail again and then turn right following the signs to Krün.
