The varied hike to the Seinskopf near Krün demands a bit of fitness. But once you reach the top, the dreamy view of the Alpenwelt Karwendel with a view of the surrounding mountains compensates all the more. Enjoy the view at almost 2,000 metres.
The starting point of the mountain tour is the centre of Krün, accessible via the bus stop of the same name. At the May tree, you ll walk along Schöttlkarspitzstraße to the town hall, then down towards the Isar. Behind the Isar bridge, you first turn right briefly and then left onto the path to the Schwarzkopf vantage point. Continue through the sparse forest, later through mountain pines and across an open slope steadily uphill to the Seinskopf. From here you have a dreamy view of Krün and the Karwendel Alpine world. The tour requires surefootedness and a little head for heights on the partly sloping slopes.
