Panorama trail from Krün

Tour description

The starting point of the challenging cross-country ski trail is the car park on Krottenkopfstraße in Krün. From there you walk across the meadows on the sunny classic or skating track towards Wallgau. Then continue in the direction of Barmsee, past the Holzplatz and always along the shore of Barmsee with a view of the Karwendel and Wetterstein mountains (cross-country ski trail and footpath together). Via a steep ascent and later via a long steep descent at Geroldsee you will reach Gerold. From there, you take the sunny, long climb up to the Sonnenhügel and after a short stretch of forest, a very steep long descent follows to the hamlet of Barmsee. Herethe trail leads along the Kranzbach and through the reed landscape at the Barmsee backto the starting point.
