Terrainkurweg 2: Around the Kranzberg

Tour description

The Terrain cure trail around the Kranzberg starts at the Alpengasthof Gröblalm and first leads past the "Schafstadl" on the hiking trail to the Berggasthof Wildensee. A short distance behind the mountain inn, a narrow but easy hiking trail branches off and leads over the north side to the summit of the Hohe Kranzberg (1,391 m). The descent is via the south side of the Kranzberg down to the Ferchensee, one of the most popular bathing lakes in the region. Back in the direction of Mittenwald, after a short while you reach the lower-lying Lautersee, where the final climb to the St. Anton mountain inn begins. Down to the cosy Korbinianhütte at 1,200 metres, you reach the footpath again, which leads back to the starting point of the tour, the Gröblalm Alpine Inn.
