This year, too, winter athletes are able run their laps in the Kaltenbrunn biathlon stadium following in the footsteps of the top biathletes Olympic champion Magdalena Neuner and world champion Martina Beck (formerly Glagow). Load your rifle, take a deep breath, take aim at the target, squeeze the trigger and run on...
Trainers instruct all participants in shooting before they go on the cross-country ski trail and give additional tips and advice, if needed. The course distance is determined based on participants’ capabilities. Just like the professionals, all biathletes receive a certificate at the concluding awards ceremony in the finishing area.
Program:
every Wednesday at 11 a.m. (except holidays) in the Kaltenbrunn biathlon stadium (find your own way there)
Parking only at the Kaltenbrunn train station (approx. 500 m. from the biathlon stadium)
Participants:
Guest biathletes must be at least 16 years old and must bring their own cross-country equipment.
Sequence:
Shooting with modern biathlon rifles at genuine competition targets
Course dependent on participants’ capabilities
Awards ceremony with certificate in the biathlon stadium
Fee:
25 Euros per participant (for rifle, 25 rounds of ammo, shooting range fee and supervision by an experienced trainer)
