Landscape extreme

Simply beautiful is the landscape around Mittenwald , Krün and Wallgau . It lies embedded in the southern Upper Bavaria between the Karwendel and Wetterstein massifs. The Isar flows through the middle, its wide valley a vision. Many other waters , surrounded by high mountains , are also front-row seats from which to gaze in wonder at the landscape. The hummock meadows are unique, where the plant kingdom of flowers and medicinal herbs remains preserved.

Diversified enjoyment of nature

The nature and the surrounding mountain landscape cannot only be marvelled at but also experienced. The trails along the Isar are easy to manage. Anybody who is aiming somewhat higher can set out for a mountain tour. With the Kranzberg or Karwendel cableways , it is even possible to enjoy a panoramic view and mountain experience without great effort.  As a crowning finish or to catch one´s breath, a stop at one of the numerous huts, mountain inns and alpine pastures presents itself. In addition to open nature, you can thus also enjoy regional products.
