There are many ways into the Alpenwelt Karwendel. The train connection from Munich (travelling time 1.5 hours) or Innsbruck (travelling time 1 hour) for example offers a spectacular scenic treat and takes you directly to the Mittenwald station or the one in Klais/Krün. If you prefer to travel by car, take the A95 from Munich to Garmisch-Partenkirchen and then the B2. The long-distance coach travels exactly the same route. It heads directly towards Mittenwald from the Munich airport (distance 140 km) on the way to Innsbruck.
